Privacy Policy

This policy explains how TeamWork Dressage ("we", "us"), the maker of EquiHaven, handles personal data. We are the data controller for account data we collect to run EquiHaven. For the records a barn adds about its own clients and horses, the barn decides what to store, and we process that data on the barn's behalf.

What we collect and why

• Account details (name, email, login): to create and secure your account. Basis: performing our contract with you.
• Barn records (horses, feed, vet and farrier info, lessons, client contact details, emergency contacts, contracts, waiver signatures, photos and documents): to provide the service. Basis: contract.
• Messages and support requests: to answer you. Basis: contract and legitimate interests.
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser info, usage logs): for security, fraud prevention and improving the app. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Emails we send (such as lesson confirmations): to keep you informed about your barn activity. Basis: contract.

We do not sell personal data.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who host the app, store data and send email for us.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which handles the sale of plans, subscriptions, payments, tax and invoicing.
• Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep data while your account or barn is active. When it is no longer needed, for example after an account closes, we delete or anonymise it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. If your data was added by a barn, you can also contact that barn directly. We aim to reply within one month.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls that keep each barn's data separate, and private file storage.

Cookies

EquiHaven uses only essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in and the app working. We do not use advertising cookies.
